Investigative Skills
OVAG offers a wide range of courses, both to police establishments and regulatory departments within corporate organisations, each aiming to improve investigative performance. Courses are normally preceded by an analysis of job requirements and an assessment of staff competence. OVAG can thus identify operational deficiencies and establish where training gaps exist, enabling each course to be ‘needs’ focused and tailored to the specific requirements of the client.
The OVAG team includes recently retired police officers with extensive vocational experience which, balanced with academic expertise, enables them to effectively deliver a ‘skills transfer’ model of training.
Classroom learning is kept to a minimum and is combined with realistic practical exercises to gain maximum benefit from each training module.
